NSW: Trindall ordered to stay away from ex-girlfriend
Former national rugby league player DARRELL TRINDALL has been ordered to stay away
for two years from a former girlfriend who alleges he threatened her and bombarded her
with phone calls while drunk.
TRINDALL, who's 31, appeared in Sydney's Redfern Local Court today where where 30-year-old
TAMARA BELLEAR-MAYERS sought an apprehended violence order, preventing him from intimidating,
stalking, contacting or approaching her.
Ms BELLEAR-MAYERS, who had been in a relationship with TRINDALL until early 1999, alleges
in her complaint that TRINDALL began the first of many unwanted phone calls about 2.45am
on November the 16th this year.
TRINDALL's solicitor ADAM HOUDA told the court he and Ms BELLEAR-MAYERS' lawyer had
reached agreement on the AVO.
Magistrate PAUL FALZON has ordered TRINDALL not go near Ms BELLEAR-MAYERS for two years.
