GM claims four mgmt seats at Opel - report.

(ADPnews) - Sep 24, 2009 - US General Motors (GM) wants to have the half of the eight management seats at German carmaker Opel even after the latter's takeover by Austrian-Canadian car parts supplier Magna (TSE:MG.A).

With these representatives, GM wants to keep control over important areas such as development of new cars, sales and marketing, GM's chief Fritz Henderson told Auto, Motor und Sport magazine in an interview.
