GUILTY PLEA ENTERED IN RAPE CASE.(Local)

A 27-year-old man accused of breaking into an Albany apartment and raping a State University at Albany student in the early morning of Oct. 18 has pleaded guilty to two charges and faces a prison term of 15 years to life as a persistent felon, according to the district attorney's office.

Kevin R. Priest of Corning, initially charged with first-degree rape and first- and second- degree burglary, appeared Thursday before Albany County Judge Joseph Harris to admit a reduced charge of attempted first-degree rape and one count of first-degree burglary.
